Operations
Office Team Member: Available to work approximately 1-2 hours per week on a regular basis between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm to help with miscellaneous office projects.  Computer skills preferred.  Contact Becky Blanchard at bblanchard@btbf.org.
 
Phone Support: Act as receptionist and answer phones occasionally.  Need help covering vacations & staff luncheons.  Contact Jennifer Phillips at jphillips@btbf.org.
 
Offering Counter Team Member: Count offering on Sunday morning after the first service during the second service.  Servant application required.  Contact Sheila Buckler at sbuckler@btbf.org.
 
Check-In Station Attendants: Monitor different check-in stations, fix any jams, refill labels, and help anyone who is unfamiliar with the touch screen.  Print labels for visitors.  Contact Karen Mooney at kmooney@btbf.org.
 
Facilities: Skilled help in various areas needed: carpentry, electrician, mechanic, painter, grounds.  Contact Patricia Jabour at pjabour@btbf.org.

Communications
Graphic Designer/Illustrator: Use your creative gifts of graphic design and/or illustration utilizing software such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.  Contact Michael McKibben at mmckibben@btbf.org.
 
Videographer/Video Editor/Animator: Storytelling through the use of video - sits in the director's chair, on the cutting room floor, or develops custom animation.  Contact Jonathan Moon at jmoon@btbf.org.
 
Web Team: Need people who have experience managing web content and/or web development to help ensure Bent Tree has an accurate, relevant and secure website.  Contact Kim Harris at kharris@btbf.org.

Care
Special Needs Lifeguards: Provide one-on-one care for our special needs children during Sunday services. Contact Michelle Harrell at mharrell@btbf.org.
 
Special Needs Buddies: Play with special-needs kids and their siblings in the gym while their parents attend a support group on the 2nd or 4th Thursday from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.  A great opportunity for a family or LifeGroup to serve together.  Contact Michelle Harrell at mharrell@btbf.org.
 
Marriage Mentors: Mentor an engaged couple enrolled in our Marriage Preparation class on your time schedule.  Classes start in September.  Contact Michelle Harrell at mharrell@btbf.org.
 
Divorce Care for Kids and Teens: Provide encouragement and care to a small group of elementary school-aged children or teens on Tuesday nights.  Leaders will facilitate the curriculum while kids discuss the divorce or separation of their parents.  Time commitment is two hours every Tuesday for 15 weeks.  Contact Russelle Stokes at rstokes@btbf.org.
 
Stephen Minister: Become a trained Stephen Minister to provide a listening ear, words of encouragement, and the gift of presence during someone's difficult time.  Training classes start at the end or August.  Contact Russelle Stokes at rstokes@btbf.org to schedule an  interview.
 
Financial Ministry: Team members are needed who can minister to those walking through financial difficulties.  Contact Michelle Harrell at mharrell@btbf.org.
 
Students
Discipleship Leader – Be a part of life-on-life discipleship with one or two high school students. Help them go deeper in their walk with Christ and learn life lessons. Contact Amy Cedrone at acedrone@btbf.org.
 
Small Group Leader – Invest in students’ lives by facilitating a small group and building relationships. Groups meet weekly.  Curriculum and leader training is provided. Wildlife Sunday Servants – Greet students and build relationships as we worship and study together on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am.  Contact Leslie Savage at lsavage@btbf.org.
 
Special Events Servants – Serve occasionally throughout the year for Student Ministry special events, such as room decor, food preparation, activity set-up, and event clean-up. Contact Leslie Savage at lsavage@btbf.org.
 
Connections
Connection Pointe Hospitality: Connection Pointe, our membership class, meets four times a year on a Saturday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.  Service opportunities for either men or women include the set up, greeting, computer check-in assistance, table host/hostess, and clean up.  To learn more about how you can help, contact Peggy McMillan at (972) 307-2156 or pmcmillan4@yahoo.com.
 
Connection Pointe Consultant: Meet with potential new members during Connection Pointe, our membership class, and help them explore their passions, talents, and spiritual gifts.  Share all that Bent Tree has to offer, from small groups to serving opportunities unique to the spiritual gifts of an individual.  Classes are help four times a year on a Saturday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.  To learn more, contact Jim White at jwhite@btbf.org.

Guest Services
Greeter: Welcome all Bent Tree guests and attenders on Sundays at major entrances, providing a friendly smile, and handshake.  Assist our guests with any needs by holding open doors, etc. 
 
Parking Lot: Greet incoming traffic with a smile and wave.  Help direct traffic in the Bent Tree parking lot for Sunday services.  Follow parking team schedule and assist with questions.  Serving is primarily done on Sundays, but other rare times may include events on nights or weekends.
 
Usher: Greet visitors and guests with a smile.  Serve as an usher helping with bulletin distribution, seating of guests, helping with offering, and communion.  Assist with attendance count.  Serving is primarily done on Sundays, but other rare times may include events on nights and weekends.
 
Special Events: Assist the event team leader with set up, hosting, serving, greeting, clean-up, and decorations several times a year.  Monthly event email is sent and servants may choose based on schedule.
 
Welcome Team Concierge: The Concierge will guide a family completely through their initial connections process on a Sunday morning.  They will walk a family from the youngest to the oldest to their classrooms or worship service.  The goal of the Concierge is to allow a new family unit to connect with one person on their first day and have all the information necessary for every member to begin the connection process.
 
Coffee Bar Brewing Servant: Servants will meet, greet, and hand out samples to people spending time in The Crossing.  These servants will be a part of the Welcome Team ministry.  Other responsibilities may include drip coffee preparation, stocking, taking orders, and customer service.
 
Kiosk Greeter: Provide customer service for those interested in sermon recordings and resources.  Responsibilities include opening and closing the kiosks, money handling, merchandising, and customer service.
 
Guest Follow-Up: Follow-up on visitor cards with letter, email, or phone call.  Communicate with team captain on weekly basis. Serving is from the comfort of home.

Communion Element Prep Team:Is your Bent Tree group looking for an opportunity to serve together?  Communion element preparation is a great way to be involved and serve the church body.  We are looking for Bent Tree groups, i.e.: LifeGroups, Mens Groups, Womens Groups, Bible Study Groups, Student Groups to name a few to register for a date and time to serve together.  We use 3 teams once a month to prepare the Communion.  No experience needed, training provided. Communion Prep Facilitators:We are looking to add 1-2 more couples to train as Communion preparation team facilitators. Responsibilities would include emailing established Communion prep servant pool/servant groups to request and confirm their support for the upcoming month and facilitating the Communion element preparation process on the Sunday you are leading. This includes supporting and training teams how to fill Communion trays, placing elements on Communion tables and washing and storing trays. No experience necessary. Hearing Impaired Interpreter: We are looking for individuals who are fluent in American Sign Language who would be willing to serve as interpreters during worship services on a rotating basis. If you are skilled in sign language and are willing to serve, please contact Karen Johnson at kjohnson@btbf.org.
 
Stage Set-up Team: strike and reset worship center stage on Monday evenings. Approximately two hours per week. This includes moving platforms, instruments, wrapping cables and help where needed.  No previous experience required. Contact Julie Bayer at jbayer@btbf.org.
 
Audio Systems Trainee - supports all technical aspects of Sunday rehearsals and services. No previous experience necessary. Contact Julie Bayer at jbayer@btbf.org.
 
Experienced FOH Engineer- runs front of house for the Sunday worship services. This position requires experience on a Digidesign Venue D-show console. Contact Julie Bayer at jbayer@btbf.org.
 
Experienced Monitor Engineer – runs monitors for the Sunday worship services. This position requires experience on a LS9 monitor board. Contact Julie Bayer at jbayer@btbf.org.

Backwall Graphics Operator – Using photography and video, this position resources and operates an advanced projection system designed for the back wall of the stage in order to enhance the Sunday worship experience. Contact Julie Bayer at jbayer@btbf.org.
 
Visual Arts - touches upon all aspects of the arts, such as painting, engineering, carpentry, welding, and set design.  As a team, Visual Artists at Bent Tree support and work on a variety of projects that include special events, holidays and sermon series topics.
