Building Fund Update
November 2004 launched our Building the Church Here and There Campaign. From that point on 90% of the donations to our building fund were allocated to the “Here” construction project and 10% to “There” which is designated to special projects with various missions partners.
Building the Church Here has a remaining mortgage note balance of $2,886,900. Up through 12-31-2010 the monthly debt service was funded out of expansion giving. Beginning in 2011 the monthly debt service is funded out of the general fund at a rate of $56,940/mo (includes the 10% Building the Church There tithe), and designated expansion giving will be utilized for debt prepayment.
Through June 2011 we have raised $2,319,600 for Building the Church There projects.
