Kidz City (Kindergarten-5th Grade)

| Kidz City is a hip-happening place where kids experience community. Kids will be reminded they live in a city that needs to hear the Good News about Jesus Christ. Through small groups and a large group environment, elementary kids will learn to make wise choices, to trust God no matter what, and to treat others the way they want to be treated (Luke 2:52). During the school year, they can memorize a weekly Scripture verse, receive a Bible Buck, and then redeem it for prizes at the D66 Station. |

Virtue: Respect
Virtue Definition: Showing others they are important by what you say and do.
September 5
Who's the boss?: You respect God when you show respect for people in charge. Showing repsect for authority ( Romans 13:1-7).
September 12
Actions Speak Louder: You can show respect with your actions. David spares Saul's life (1 Samuel 18; 19; 24).
September 19
What You Say: You can show respect with your words. Taming the tongue (James 3:9-12).
September 26
Chain of Command: Show respect to God because He's in charge of everything. The faith of the centurian (Matthew 8:5-13).

D66 Bible Verses

In Kidz City, children learn that they serve a really BIG God whom they can trust no matter what. We learn to trust Him though His promises and demonstrated faithfulness told to us in the Bible.

| Passing down the knowledge and value of God’s Word to our children is extremely important as they learn about faith, God, and what it means to follow Jesus. Scripture can provide guidance when a child’s faith is challenged or when they face a difficult decision. The Bible helps us all make wise choices. |
| Each week, your child will receive a Bible verse to memorize at home. Your child will have the opportunity to recite the memorized verse to his/her small group leader the next Sunday. Bible Bucks will be rewarded for each verse recited. Kids will be encouraged to recite any previous verses that he/she might have missed. Bible Bucks can be redeemed for prizes at the D66 Station. |
