What is Fine Arts Day Camp?

Bent Tree Bible Fellowship’s Fine Arts Day Camp is an exciting, week-long adventure for kids who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade. The camp centers around the theme that God is the Ultimate Artist and we are created in His image! Campers explore the creativity and majesty of God through classes in Bible, voice, music, dance, drama, and set design. While learning artistic skills and Biblical truths in these areas, the kids are also preparing a musical production they perform on Friday night. Throughout the week, they learn choral music and choreography for the show, as well as have hands-on participation in painting and completing the set. Lead roles for the musical are cast in April through an audition process, and kids rehearse prior to the week of camp.

Our hope and prayer is that the kids will take these treasures with them when they leave Friday night:

- A deeper walk with Jesus Christ
- Knowing they are special and unique – with gifts given to them for the sole purpose of glorifying God
- Music and lyrics steeped in Scripture and Godly principles that they will keep in their hearts forever
- New-found friendships and greater relationships with their fellow campers
- A tremendous sense of teamwork and accomplishment through God’s work and presence.
- Feeling extremely loved and cared for by the staff and volunteers of the camp
- A love and passion for worship and arts

Servants

We give thanks to God that we have an abundance of servants for this year’s camp week and at this time are not in need of additional servants.  If you are interested in serving and are not registered, please email Karen Johnson to be placed on a substitute list.  If we find we have cancellations or holes that need to be filled, we will contact you.

For registered servants: please remember to register and purchase lunch during camp with, if you desire to do so.  The deadline to register for lunch is Friday, July 16thLink to register

After Party

At the conclusion of the performance Friday night, we will move outside for a fun time of fellowshipping together at our annual After Party!  On the south side of the church campus (back of the gym) we will have a dunking booth, bounce houses, slides and obstacle courses for the kids to play on.  Some of them will include water, so bring your towels and swimsuits (if desired).  We are offering a dinner catered by Mooyah at the After Party - by pre-order only. Deadline for dinner orders is Monday, July 26th at 5 pm.  This year we will be utilizing an online registration form for pre-order and purchase of dinner at the After Party.  Please click here to order dinner.  You are not at all obligated to purchase the dinner.  We offer this as a convenience for you, if you would like to take advantage of having your dinner ready for you when you leave the performance.  Many people choose to bring their own picnic dinner, or run down the street for food and bring it to the party.  Any of these options will work great!

This year we will be relying heavily on our FADC blog to communicate with you all in the next few days and during camp.  Please bookmark this webpage:  blogs.btbfmedia.org/fadc/ and visit if often!  You can also subscribe to the blog newsfeed so that you will receive an email when we add a post to the blog.
