Student Ministries eNews

September 1, 2010

Hey Parents!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to you. My name is Steve Frissell, and I am the new Student Ministries pastor. I have been married to my wife, Lindsay, for fourteen years, and we have four kids: Madison, Reagan, McKinley, and Harrison. I’ve been blessed to have been involved in student ministry for over ten years.

I consider it a privilege to serve here at Bent Tree and am excited about the opportunities we’ll have to partner together in developing students. I truly believe that parents have the greatest opportunity to disciple, love, challenge, and encourage students.

I know that parenting is not easy, and oftentimes we can feel lost in the midst of some of our circumstances. Know that our hope and goal for Student Ministries at Bent Tree is that we can be a resource and an encouragement to you as your son or daughter prepares for adulthood. Hopefully, your student is involved in a small group here at Bent Tree. It is incredible to see students make friends and learn to experience Life together as they grow in their relationship with the Lord. We want to make sure that every student has an opportunity to have this kind of community, and small groups have proven to be an awesome place to find it.

There are many ways for your student to get involved, so please check the What's Happening Students page to find out what is going on or contact us if we can help you in any way.

Blessings,
Steve
