Special Needs Ministry
The Bent Tree Special Needs Ministry strives to provide a Christ-centered, accepting environment where individuals with disabilities can learn the love of Christ. It is our desire that people with disabilities have a place in which to grow in their relationship with Christ. Our ministry is for anyone, birth through adult, who is diagnosed with a disability, be it physical, mental, developmental, or emotional. We are here to stand with you as you face the everyday challenges of living with a special need. If you are interested in our Special Needs Ministry or have any questions, please contact
mharrell@btbf.org.
Lifeguards
|
To assist individuals with special needs, we provide trained servants as “buddies,” or one-on-one support. Lifeguards will accompany children to their Kids Ministry classroom, will assist children in a Special Needs Classroom, or will accompany adults to church or other ministry activities. If someone in your family needs a Lifeguard, visit btbf.org/lifeguards for more information.
Special Needs Classroom
We provide a Special Needs Classroom during our Sunday morning services. This is available for any child with a special need who is unable to mainstream into the age-appropriate classroom. Lifeguards will be present with each child.
Special Needs and Disabilities Support Group
If you have a disability or provide care for someone with special needs, please join us for this support group! current meeting times
Prayer Support/Family Ministry
We have a team of individuals committed to praying for the requests of our special needs families and ministering to them in any way possible. We are here to lift you up in prayer and minister to the entire family.
